arrow Lessons From The World Cup Final
By Leslie Choudhury

I'm not the biggest soccer fan in the world, ( except for Manchester United games) but the World Cup Finals was simply incredible. Italy and France played an amazing, hard fought game in which Italy won.
There was a very important success insight to be found in the game.
I'm going to tell you what I thought and then talk about it.

PRINCIPLE: Little Things Make a Big Difference.

Many times it's our seemingly 'smallest' actions that bring us our biggest rewards or biggest regrets. Our minutes make our lives. Our smallest decisions create our future.
One of the best soccer players in the world is Zidane from France.
They rank him up there with the great Pele'.
This world cup game was going to be Zidane's last. He already announced his retirement. With Italy and France tied in overtime, Zidane made a small decision that made a big difference for his team.
In the 110th minute of the game, Zidane and one of the Italian players started yelling at each other and then in an instant everything changed.
Zidane's anger got the best of him. He HEADBUTTED the Italian and was thrown out of the game.
In that moment, the leader, the captain, hurt greatly his team.
France had to play with 1 less person and then lost the game in penalty kicks.
In 3 seconds Zidane’s whole career aspirations and perhaps reputation was changed.
He made 1000's of soccer decisions in his life and that 3 seconds is what people will talk about for ages.
The little things we do in life, many of them even seem inconsequential when we do them, make ALL the difference.

Our minutes make our lives.

All of us have to work on thinking before we act and understanding the consequences on our actions. Whether it's soccer, real estate, building an online business, direct sales, it all comes down to our MINDSET.
How we control ourselves and how we motivate ourselves to action and self discipline.
Repetition helps us embed the habits of success in us.
If Zidane could have focused for that second on what his team needed vs his anger to the Italian player, the outcome of the game might have been very different.

It's the little things.

How we help somebody.

How we follow-up

How we praise somebody.

How we express thanks and gratitude

How we say what we say

How we might motivate someone.

The little things make a big difference.

It was shown in the World Cup finals again.

If we all take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves.

Speak to u soon.
